Role Overview
We’re seeking an experienced Draftsperson to transform design concepts into precise technical drawings. Working hands-on with our Engineers, this role provides opportunities for career growth and to further expand your drafting skills and capabilities.
Communicating and collaborating with others to effectively produce desired outcomes whilst adhering to company, client and regulatory requirements is essential to the success of this position.
Key Responsibilities
- Utilising Autodesk programs to develop detailed preliminary, planning and final working drawings of components, assemblies, layouts and systems utilised in the pumping, water and waste water treatment industries.
- Generate complete BOMs & stock lists for projects.
- Collaborate with clients, engineers and key personnel to resolve issues whilst ensuring compliance to drafting standards and industry requirements.
- Oragnise and maintain drawing documentation including version control and traceability.
Eligibility
- Proficiency in Inventor software for detailed drawings
- SolidWorks and AutoCAD experience an advantage but not essential
- Experience in reading P&IDs and producing accurate fabrication drawings
- Understanding of pumping and water treatment industry products and systems is desirable.
