Flow Rates & Pressure

What Continuous Flow Rate in (LPM - Litres Per Minute) do you require? The continuous flow rate will help with deciding what equipment will be required to maintain your usage requirements.
What is your Peak Flow Rate in (LPM - Litres Per Minute)? The “Peak Flow Rate” is defined as a sudden and sustained increase in the loading into a water treatment plant. Peak flows can be delineated into “instantaneous” (about one hour) or “sustained” (about 24 hours).
What is your Mains Pressure in PSI and what pressure pump are you currently using? Please add the Pump Brand and Model no.
To measure constant water pressure in PSI, attach a pressure gauge anywhere on the site on the water supply piping. Ensure no plumbing fixtures are running, and if a well and pump system serves the site, make sure that you have run the water until the pump starts running, then turn the water off.
The most accurate method is to install a pressure gauge making sure to have it installed by a certified plumber. Check the pressure in PSI when all water-using appliances are turned off to get a baseline reading.
