Dowdens Pumping and Water Treatment is a well-established Queensland business specialising in pump and fluid management solutions. We work across some of the region’s biggest industries — mining, agriculture, and industrial services — and our Mackay branch is a busy, hands-on operation where the work is real and teamwork is key.

Role Overview

As a full time Store Person, you will assist in the efficient day-to-day operation of our warehouse, including receiving, storing, picking, packing, and dispatching stock to ensure our clients receive the right product at the right time!

No two days are the same, and you’ll quickly become someone the team counts on.

The ability to work within a small team, autonomously and communicate with all departments / personnel – coupled with great attention to detail, a sense of humour and computer skills are essential for this role.

Key Responsibilities

• Receipting and dispatching goods
• Picking and packing goods / wrapping and strapping pallets for transport
• Expediting of orders
• Forklift operation – loading / unloading trucks (where licenced)
• Stock Rotation and product stocktakes
• Show up on time, every time, ready to go!

Eligibility

• Must have some experience in a warehouse / store person role (industry / trades based warehouse highly regarded)
• Current HRW Forklift License preferred (but not essential – training / licence is provided if required)
• Strong technology, orgainsation and computer skills
